About the Adobe XD

Adobe XD (Experience Design) is a vector-based user experience design tool developed and published by Adobe Inc. It is primarily used for designing and prototyping user interfaces for web and mobile applications. XD allows designers to create wireframes, interactive prototypes with animations and transitions, and design systems. Key features include Repeat Grid for quick replication of elements, Components with multiple states, Responsive Resize for adapting designs to different screen sizes, Content-Aware Layout, and the ability to add voice commands and Lottie animations to prototypes. It also offers real-time collaboration, cloud documents for seamless sharing and coediting, and robust integration with other Adobe Creative Cloud applications like Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as third-party plugins. Adobe XD has been in maintenance mode since June 2023, with Adobe discontinuing its direct sales following the failed acquisition of Figma. However, it remains a functional tool for existing users.
