Altair SimSolid is a revolutionary mesh-free structural and thermal analysis software designed for rapid design iterations. Unlike traditional Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools, SimSolid completely eliminates the need for geometry simplification and meshing, which are often the most time-consuming and error-prone steps in the simulation process. It can analyze complex parts and large assemblies with high accuracy in seconds to minutes on a standard PC, even with imperfect CAD geometry (e.g., gaps and overlaps). SimSolid supports various analysis types, including linear statics, modal, stress linearization, thermal, coupled thermal-stress, nonlinear statics (contact, material, and geometrical), fatigue analysis, and linear dynamics.
