About the Amazon Forecast

Amazon Forecast is a fully managed, machine learning (ML) service that uses the same technology as Amazon.com to deliver highly accurate time-series forecasts. It enables developers to integrate advanced forecasting capabilities into their applications without requiring deep ML expertise. Users provide historical time-series data (e.g., sales, inventory, web traffic), and Amazon Forecast automatically trains and deploys custom ML models, including deep learning algorithms like DeepAR+, as well as traditional statistical methods. It can also incorporate related time-series data and item metadata to improve forecast accuracy.
