Appgate SDP is an industry-leading Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solution that provides secure, adaptive access to applications and resources for users, devices, and workloads, regardless of their location (on-premises, multi-cloud, or hybrid). Unlike traditional VPNs, Appgate SDP creates a dynamic, one-to-one encrypted network segment between the user/device and the specific resource they are authorized to access, minimizing the attack surface and preventing lateral movement. It uses identity-centric and context-aware policies, integrating with various Identity Providers (IdPs) and Endpoint Security Solutions to make real-time access decisions based on user roles, device posture, location, and other risk factors.
