About the BIMsmith

BIMsmith is a free cloud-based platform designed for building professionals (architects, engineers, contractors) to streamline the process of discovering, researching, and downloading BIM (Building Information Modeling) product data. It consists of several key components: BIMsmith Market for researching and downloading Revit families and other BIM content; BIMsmith Forge® for configuring complex wall, floor, ceiling, and roof assemblies using real manufacturer product data; and MyBIMsmith for cloud storage and sharing of BIM content. BIMsmith also offers a free Revit Plugin to integrate its functionalities directly into the Revit interface. It aims to bridge the gap between building product manufacturers and designers by providing high-quality, free, and accessible BIM content.
