About the Celsius Network

Celsius Network was a cryptocurrency platform that enabled users to earn interest on their crypto deposits and take out loans using their crypto as collateral. It was founded by Alex Mashinsky and S. Daniel Leon with the goal of providing financial services without traditional bank fees. The platform featured a mobile app for managing a wallet, earning weekly rewards, and accessing low-cost loans. Following bankruptcy in 2022, the company ceased operations and shut down its app in February 2024.
