About the Creo Schematics

Creo Schematics (formerly Pro/ENGINEER Routed Systems Designer) is a dedicated 2D schematic capture software developed by PTC. It is specifically designed for documenting electrical and mechanical routed systems, such as cabling, piping, and HVAC. Creo Schematics allows engineers to quickly and easily create schematic designs and then automates the transfer of this 2D logic into Creo Parametric for accurate 3D routing of cables and pipes. This digital thread significantly reduces manual interpretation errors, improves collaboration between electrical and mechanical designers, and accelerates time-to-market by ensuring compliance between 2D schematics and 3D designs. It integrates with PTC's Product Development System, including Windchill, for comprehensive data management.
