It provides a pre-configured virtual machine with a persistent 5GB home directory, and comes pre-installed with essential command-line tools like the Google Cloud SDK (gcloud), git, kubectl, and various language runtimes. It is automatically authenticated to your Google Cloud account, eliminating the need to install or configure anything on your local machine. It allows you to manage cloud resources, develop and debug applications, and access a built-in code editor directly from your web browser.
