About the Mockoon

Mockoon is a free and open-source desktop application that allows developers to quickly and easily create and run mock APIs locally. It provides a user-friendly graphical interface for designing mock servers with unlimited routes, dynamic templating, response rules, and proxy forwarding. Mockoon helps accelerate development and testing by eliminating dependencies on external APIs, enabling developers to simulate various scenarios, including error handling, latency, and real-time responses. Beyond the desktop application, Mockoon offers a CLI (Command Line Interface) for self-hosting mocks in headless environments (like CI/CD pipelines) and a cloud platform for team collaboration and cloud deployments.
