About the NetLogo

NetLogo is a multi-agent programmable modeling environment for simulating natural and social phenomena. It is particularly well-suited for education and research, allowing users to explore how a system's macroscopic patterns emerge from the local interactions of its individual components. The software is widely used in science, mathematics, and social science classrooms. The NetLogo platform includes an extensive library of pre-built models in various domains, such as biology, physics, chemistry, and social science, which users can explore and modify. It was designed by Uri Wilensky and is developed at the Center for Connected Learning and Computer-Based Modeling at Northwestern University.
