About the PuTTY

PuTTY is a free and open-source terminal emulator, serial console, and network file transfer application. It supports several network protocols, including SSH, Telnet, rlogin, and raw socket connections. Initially written for Windows, it has since been ported to other operating systems like macOS and Linux. While it does not have an integrated file transfer client, it comes with command-line tools like PSCP and PSFTP.
