StorMagic SvSAN is a software-defined virtual Storage Area Network (vSAN) designed primarily for the edge, remote office/branch office (ROBO), and small data center environments. It creates highly available, shared storage by mirroring the internal disks or direct-attached storage (DAS) of two (or more) standard x86 servers, eliminating the need for a physical SAN. It is installed as a Virtual Storage Appliance (VSA) and works with industry-leading hypervisors to ensure 100% uptime for critical applications at sites with limited IT resources.
