About the vSRX

uniper vSRX is a virtual firewall appliance delivering robust security and network services in public, private, and hybrid cloud environments. It is based on Junos OS and provides full next-generation firewall (NGFW) capabilities including stateful firewall, VPN, NAT, intrusion prevention system (IPS), application security (AppSecure), and content security (antivirus, web filtering, antispam). vSRX supports high throughput (up to 200 Gbps), scalable CPU and RAM allocation, and integrates advanced threat prevention via Juniper ATP Cloud with machine learning enabled dynamic malware analysis. It supports deployment on x86 hypervisors including VMware ESXi, KVM, and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Centralized management is available through Junos Space Security Director, enabling streamlined policy enforcement and monitoring across physical and virtual firewalls. vSRX excels in providing policy-driven security for dynamic, software-defined networks with NFV use cases.
